JOIN THE CARE MINISTRY COHORT

Tired of putting out fires?
Needing a system but don't know how or where to start?

You have a heart for the people in your church, but find yourself overwhelmed, lonely, and frustrated with the lack of systems that keep you from caring for them.

You have found yourself wondering...

  • Will you ever find the time to build this ministry?
  • What are other church's doing to make their care ministry work so well?
  • How do I prioritize and meet all the urgent needs of my congregation?
  • Does anyone else feel as overwhelmed as I do?

Believe me, friend, you are not alone.

Imagine if:

Your church had a culture of care and strategy that is sustainable.
You could have confidence that your congregants are cared for by a team rather than exhausted leaders.
All the hard work is done for you. All you have to do is implement templates, samples, and guides into your already-existing ministry.
An Invitation From Laura:

Your care ministry is the greatest opportunity for people to find the love and hope of Christ. You don't have to lead it alone.

So ... What's a Cohort?

I'm so glad you asked! ;)

A cohort is a small group of ministry leaders singularly focused on building a care ministry for their local church.

We meet weekly for 5 months as we walk through a proven process of developing a care ministry that is both strategic and sustainable.

Collaborate with other leaders while being led through a step-by-step process that helps you create a plan, develop community partners, develops systems and pathways, and build a team.

What's Included:

COMMUNITY

No more going it alone.

Join a community of care leaders who are ready to level up the care their churches offers.

Collaborate, share resources and encourage one another as you strengthen your local church.

TEMPLATES

Get a jump start.

By having templates, downloads, and pathways for you to customize, all the guesswork is taken out.

Create policies, training modules and forms customized for your church in just a few clicks.

ACCOUNTABILITY

I get you.

The Schedule:

Over five months, we’ll walk step-by-step through four core modules designed to help you build a strategic and sustainable care ministry.
Along the way, you’ll also join three small group coaching sessions for personal support, feedback, and connection with other leaders.

Module 1: Build a Plan – Finding Your Focus

  • Clarify your direction. Define what care means in your unique church context and discover your ministry’s sweet spot, the intersection of your church’s vision, your team’s strengths, and your community’s needs.

  • Create your roadmap. Develop a customized care ministry plan with a clear vision, focus areas, and practical action steps so you can lead with confidence and direction instead of reaction.

Module 2: Build Alignment – Bringing Everyone Together

  • Unite your people. Learn how to align and onboard pastors, staff, and volunteers under a shared vision so everyone works toward the same goals with clarity and purpose.

  • Build the structure. Design a community partner plan, volunteer roles, onboarding plans, and a budget that make care consistent across your church.

Module 3: Build Strategy – Creating Systems for Sustainable Care

  • Turn compassion into consistency. Develop simple systems and policies that ensure no one falls through the cracks by tracking needs, assigning follow-ups, and maintaining care through every stage of someone’s journey.

  • Create care pathways. Build step-by-step workflows for common care situations such as hospital visits, loss, crisis, or financial hardship so your team always knows what to do next.

Module 4: Build Capacity – Caring for the Caregivers

  • Sustain your team’s health. Identify signs of burnout and compassion fatigue and implement rhythms of rest, debriefing, and celebration that strengthen your caregivers.

  • Lead from overflow. Create structures for supervision, emotional support, and team connection so your care ministry remains healthy and life-giving for years to come.
