75: Cognitive Behavior Therapy A Therapeutic Model Or Biblical Principle

The idea of therapy scares the majority of individuals for many reasons like they don't want to talk about their feelings, lack money or trust in therapy as well as a number of weird therapy types.

However, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, one of the most effective kinds of therapy is known to be effective on a range of problems like anxiety disorder, eating disorders, substance abuse, and post-traumatic disorder.

In Episode 75, I highlight how this particular therapy can be of use to ministry leaders and their communities in incidences where they may be hesitant to seek therapy.

I share:

  • How Cognitive Behavior Therapy transforms one thought process
  • The relationship between therapy and the word of God

  • If thoughts guide how we view and react to life, then by changing how we think, we can change how we feel and deal with life’s problems.
  • Keep your heart with all vigilance from it flows the springs of life.
  • Our thoughts are powerful and can direct our emotions or choices.
  • When you make changes in one area then you will see changes in others.
